Camp Lejeune Job Fair

Recruit separating military service members and Coastal Carolina Community College students at a job fair with over 200 organizations attended by 3000+ job seekers.

A nonrefundable registration fee of $100 is required; you will be provided a booth with an area of 8’ x 7’, a 6-foot table covered and two chairs.

Salem College Internship Exploration Fair

Each student at Salem - all majors from chemistry to not-for-profit management - must have a 160 hour internship to graduate. This fair will help to connect our talented students to great internship experiences.

The CPCC Career Fair is marketed extensively on our six campuses and in the community. We want the right candidates to connect with the right employers.

The registration deadline for recruiters is February 25, 2008. Our Career Fair sold out before the registration deadline last year, so please be sure to register early in order to reserve a spot. ENCCA Career Fair

Nine private colleges and universities in eastern North Carolina work together to sponsor the Eastern North Carolina Career Alliance (ENCCA) Career Fair. Students and alumni from these institutions participate: Barton College, Campbell University, Meredith College, Methodist University, Mount Olive College, North Carolina Wesleyan College, Peace College, St. Andrews Presbyterian College, and Shaw University. Students and alumni of other private colleges in North Carolina are invited to attend.

Metrolina and Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association are co-sponsoring CAREER EXPO 2008.

Open to all consortium member students, including students of NCCC and ENCAA member schools.

Meredith College Teacher Network Fair

Public school systems, charter schools, and private schools attend to recruit teachers.

Open to students and the public. There is no pre-registration for job seekers. Check in begins at 9:00am and event begins at 9:30am. Bring multiple copies of your resume to the fair as well as your friends who are interested in learning more about the teaching profession. Freshmen, sophomores and juniors will explore career paths and gather information concerning part-time employment, internships/co-ops and summer jobs. Seniors, graduate students and alumni will seek information regarding full-time, permanent employment opportunities. All students will be encouraged to gather information pertaining to graduate programs as well. In addition, students from other area colleges are invited to attend. Fall Career Expo

Held annually in September at the Dean Smith Center, this is the largest UCS career fair. Approximately 90-115 employers from various industries including non-profit, business and government attend. This fair is open to UNC-CH undergraduate and graduate students in all disciplines (except MBA, MAC, Law, Medical, and Dental).

Law School Exploration Day

Law School Exploration Day provides students interested in attending law school the opportunity to talk with representatives from more than 60 law schools. Law Day is in November. Open to all majors.

Nursing Job Fair

Approximately 30-40 hospitals and health care agencies attend this job fair. This is an opportunity for nursing students to meet with prospective employers and learn about career opportunities.

Masters & PhD Career Fair

This event brings together PhD students who will be finishing their programs within two years and masters students with organizations in a wide range of industries hiring PhD’s and master’s candidates in the humanities, social science, and natural sciences. UNC-CH co-sponsors the event with Duke University, North Carolina State University, UNC-Greensboro, and Wake Forest University. The fair takes place in November.

Come speak with representatives of organizations and Peace Corps who offer internship and volunteer opportunities.

Internship Fair

The Internship Fair provides a forum for students interested in obtaining internships to meet with employers who provide internships. Approximately 55-60 organizations from a variety of employment areas participate in this program. The Internship Fair is held in late January. Open to all majors (except MBA, Law, Medical, Dental, and MAC students).

ENCCA Career Fair

The Eastern North Carolina Career Alliance (ENCCA) is pleased to invite employers to participate in our next Career Fair to be held at the McKimmon Center in Raleigh, NC on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Students and alumni of all ENCCA institutions are invited to attend. The registration deadline for recruiters is Thursday, February 19, 2009. Our Career Fair has sold out before the registration deadline two years in a row, so please register early to reserve your spot. Limited sponsorship opportunities are currently available, if your organization would like to sponsor the CPCC Career Fair, please contact Christy Curts, Career Fair Coordinator, before Thursday, January 8, 2009. If not, please follow the directions to register – once you are registered, you can sign up for the fair.
