Career Management Center. The Program Coordinator for MMS Career Services is an integral position within the MMS Program and the CMC team. S/he works closely with department leadership to realize their respective goals. In this capacity, s/he assists with delivering a comprehensive program of workshops, counseling, recruiting, and other services that prepares the MMS students to succeed in the job market. The incumbent also assists in working to build the MMS program’s brand in the employment marketplace. To achieve this objective, the incumbent will assist in the creation and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to expand the Duke MMS recruiting portfolio, develop new and existing recruiting partnerships, and execute marketing initiatives.

The Program Coordinator is regularly required to resolve diverse and advanced problems independently, to manage complex logistics for a variety of stakeholders, and to effectively complete assigned projects. This position reports to the Program Director and Associate Director for MMS Career Services and works closely with the whole CMC team, but also interfaces with the Associate Dean MMS Programs. Additionally, this position will work occasionally with the Program Director and Associate Director, Student Services for the MMS Program. Successful candidates will have excellent organizational skills; attention to detail and follow-through; strong communication skills, both verbal and written; and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Candidates must be comfortable working in situations where no previous models exist. Proficiency in MS Office suite programs, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint; as well as the capacity to learn CMC-specific technologies is required.

Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in business communications to effectively represent the school to both internal and outside parties. Three or more years of administrative/project experience preferred. Undergraduate degree strongly preferred. (PAID ON THE MONTHLY PAYROLL)
