Director of Career Services
The Director is responsible for the selection, supervision, training, evaluation and recognition of a staff of 15. The Director manages the center’s budget of nearly $900,000 and provides leadership in supporting existing services and programs including career development, professional development, career planning, internship development, on- campus recruiting initiatives, career fairs/expos, online career resources, employer development activities, and assessment of services.

Associate Director of Employer Engagement
The Associate/Assistant Director of Employer Engagement in the Center for Career and Professional Development is responsible for building relationships among corporate and community organizations on the benefits of hiring university students and graduates. The goals of the position are to increase job posting, recruitment, and hiring activity for the Western Carolina University students and graduates and to generate increased support and resources for the career center and the university.
