Reporting to the AVCSA, the Director of the Career Center provides leadership and vision for the department in an effort to maintain and expand UNC Pembroke’s comprehensive career services for students and alumni. The Director of the Career Center provides strategic direction for all career development programs and services, including employer relations, career counseling, job search assistance, graduate school counseling, and internship development. The Director leads efforts to increase the visibility, support, and sponsorship of career development activities, enhance existing services, and benchmark with similar institutions to identify best practices.

This role will directly advise students, liaise with academic departments, give presentations, design programs, and have the option to teach a for-credit career development course.
