Responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, coordination, and control of activities within comprehensive career development functions. Develops strategic vision and planning for career development, including internal and external initiatives and programs. Strategic direction will be based on career, economic and workforce conditions, current trends and issues in today’s- and tomorrow’s- work world, and benchmarking our programs and services with key educational institutions. Goals and initiatives will be aligned with overall department, division and campus strategic goals. Manage multifaceted relationships with staff, faculty, alumni, and students. Serve on divisional and institutional committees as assigned. Serve as active member of Career Center’s leadership team. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Career Center. In the absence of the Director, serve as the point person for overall Career Center matters.
