The Career Coach provides career coaching to meet students’ and alumni career development needs. The Career Coach contributes to outreach efforts with faculty to integrate Career Education into the curriculum to impact all UNC Asheville students. The employee develops and teaches career development workshops and classroom modules to help students and alumni achieve their career goals. This position oversees the Career Peer educator program, developing undergraduate students to provide first-line career education for peers within the Career Center. The employee is expected to utilize career development theories and best practices to expand the scope of the program. The Career Coach develops and implements outreach and marketing plans for the Career Center to engage in career education to students underserved and not currently impacted by present initiatives.

Integrated Advising Coach I

Warren Wilson College is seeking an Integrated Advising Coach I with the right aptitude, education and experience to provide effective and student-centered academic and career advising to students. The Integrated Advising (IA) Coach will work closely with students, both through one-on-one advising and campus-wide programming, to help them reflect on their experiences and develop future plans guided by their academic and professional goals. Specifically, IA Coaches will help students maximize opportunities available to them by integrating academic plans and applied learning experiences, including hands-on community engagement opportunities, work crews, research, professional internships, student life opportunities, and study abroad courses or programs.

High Point University is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Career and Professional Development. The Assistant Director assists students in their career and professional needs including one-on-one or group career counseling, internship and job-search advising, developing and presenting workshops and classroom presentations. The assistant director also is a key person in creating, developing, and nurturing positive relationships with students, employers, faculty, staff, alumni, and parents. In addition, the assistant director serves as primary administrator for the internship for credit process, management of the Peer Career Advisors, technology systems such as Purple Briefcase, and provides leadership and assistance in data collection, management, and reporting.

Assistant Director of Career Development and Employer Relations

The Assistant Director (AD) for Undergraduate Business Career Development and Employer Relations is responsible for the execution of many critical functions within the UBP including, but not limited to a) student career coaching, b) career development programming, c) employer relations, d) student club advising, and e) special initiatives to support both students and employers in their pursuits. The AD will serve as a generalist and thus must develop an understanding of a variety of internship and entry-level job markets as well as recruiting timelines and requirements. The AD will be expected to contribute to a professional, safe, inclusive, and equitable space for students, employer partners, other staff, and faculty. This position will report to the Associate Director for Career Development & Employer Relations.

Career Coach, Part time

Queens University of Charlotte seeks an experienced part‐time Career Coach to support its university‐wide career development office. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Internship Programs in the Vandiver Center for Career Development (VCCD), the Career Coach provides professional guidance to students and alumni from various majors and programs.
