Want to Get Involved?

NCACE thrives because of its talented, diverse members. NCACE desires to be a welcoming organization that encourages members to voice interest in getting involved through service and leadership roles.

How we’re structured: The executive board consists of a current president, president-elect, past president, secretary, treasurer, regional representatives (two in each of our 3 regions: central, eastern and western). These roles are voted on by membership and these are the individuals who have the ability to vote on decisions within the organization. These are typically 2 year commitments.

In addition to the board there are a number of executive committees that typically have 2-3 co-chairs. The committees include:conference, diversity, equity and inclusion, leadership institute, membership, mentor program, newsletter, philanthropy, professional development, social media, technology, operations institute, directors’ summit, awards, and historian. These are typically 1 year commitments. The largest committee is our conference team, led by two co-chairs. There are many different subcommittees within the conference committee, and serving here is a great way to begin your leadership involvement!

NCACE is guided by bylaws that help provide structure to our organization, but also allows for flexibility for the organization to change as needed and grow over time.
