NCACE President's Welcome

Dear Members of the North Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers (NCACE): 

Welcome to the 2025–2026 academic year! I’m excited to kick off another year with this incredible community of professionals who are passionate about career development, recruitment, and student success. As we dive into the new season, I hope NCACE continues to be a space where you find inspiration, support, and meaningful connections.

Our work spans a wide range of sectors—business, industry, government, and higher education—and this year, we’ll be leaning into innovative practices that elevate employment opportunities and enrich professional development for both our members and the students we serve. I’m looking forward to the energy and ideas this year will bring.

I’m especially excited to share that we’ve launched a new committee: Community, Impact, and Engagement. This group will focus on strengthening relationships across our membership, amplifying the impact of our work, and creating opportunities for deeper engagement—on campus, in our organizations, and throughout the state. We believe this committee will help us build a more connected and purpose-driven NCACE.

We’ll also continue to build on the momentum of our Employer Engagement Committee, which had a strong inaugural year. This team will keep expanding opportunities for employers and members to collaborate, share insights, and grow together.

As always, I encourage you to stay connected—attend events, share your experiences, and engage in conversations that move our work forward. Your voice matters, and together, we can continue to make a meaningful difference.
